2-Day and 3-Day marriage intensive sessions are for couples to overcome issues that are separating them emotionally, spiritually, physically and intimately. Couples leave with a game plan to effectively communicate, manage conflicts, problem solve with win/win solutions, rekindle intimacy, forgive, rebuild trust and more! You can learn the knowledge and skills needed to truly honor, cherish and love one another.

Creating a Strong Foundation for your Marriage
Premarital intensives prepare a couple for marriage by learning relational skills and ensuring they discuss all the topics necessary for a healthy and fulfilling marriage.
- The most important skills to do this are communication and conflict management. We teach skills so you'll have tools to put in your relational tool-belt to equip you for the long haul.
- We reflect on your families of origin to learn how those relationships have or may impact your marriage; and strategies to overcome things you don't want to carry forward and preserve traditions you want to keep.
- We will evaluate a list of topics to determine which ones apply to your relationship and discuss each person's view on those topics. Any disagreements will be an opportunity to learn more about your spouse and use the tools you learn to get to a win/win solution.
- We will create a roadmap for your marriage so that you are intentional in keeping your relationship loving and connected.

This approach evolved after hourly counseling on a weekly basis for months only provided a 20% success rate, and that was just for couples who made it past their 3rd appointment. Research shows many couples get more frustrated with the hourly format and drop out after a few appointments. They end up saying, “See counseling cannot even help us!”
Marriage Intensives set up the dedicated time to get to the root of the problems. You’ll learn new ways to communicate and manage conflict so you can work through your critical marriage issues. Together, you will create a plan for your marriage to leave the harmful and hurtful behaviors behind and use the new approach and tools. Intensives have an 85-90% success rate.
Some issues that occur frequently are: infidelity, sexual addictions, pornography, stepfamily blending issues, parenting issues, inability to connect through effective communication, inability to manage conflict, financial management issues and more.
